Winter Solstice Inti Raymi Ceremony

There are many special gateways or portals throughout the year, where the ancient and sacred traditions of the Andes are put into practice, and our gratitude, offerings, and prayers are given in ceremony. The Winter Solstice is one of those sacred times when the Inti Raymi festival is held in Peru to honor the Sun God Raymi. These days the ceremony is reenacted a little differently however, and this year I would like to invite you to a sacred Cacao ceremony where we give our gratitude and thanks for the return of the light on our precious planet. Not only will the days begin to lengthen and the daylight begin to shine longer once more, but we also welcome the highest frequencies of light and love to the planet at this time of great transition.

We will begin by embodying the sacred medicine of Cacao and proceed by giving our prayers and gratitude with a sacred Andean Despacho offering.

These practices have been passed to me by my teachers in the Andes, The Apaza lineage and it is my privilege to carry this medicine into this community.
